Why You Shouldn't Ignore Building an Email List as an Education Brand Onwer | Get Started Today!Sep 26, 2022
I had "list building" on my to-do list for years before becoming serious and consistent with it.
We tend to think we should only start when we can give it all when we can batch-create stuff for months, and if we cannot do that, we shouldn't even try it. In fact, the opposite is true.
You don't have to wait until you have the capacity to batch-create, have the perfect camera gear or do the next copywriting course. Instead, you should find the simplest way you can still manage it consistently. That's the key. Do it with the most minimal effort, but do it each week.
Email is still the most consistent channel where you can reach out to your entire tribe.
You can't just let social media algorithms control who you're reaching today... Plus, your followers can be gone any day, your account can get hacked or blocked, and you don't even know where to look for all those people. Make sure you have another way to reach out to them and nurture that channel consistently. That will be your best tool when you're ready to bring in new students next time.
Once you manage to keep it consistent, you can consider batch-creating and other solutions.
